Marine Controller
Infranet Systems Marine Controller Drives the Canting Keel on Skiddy Too to a 1st PHRF Overall Win in the Auckland to Denarau Fiji Ocean Race.

"The Infranet Systems Marine Controller worked flawlessly throughout the race. With the keel controls at the helm it became effortless to move the keel, allowing for more keel fine tuning. The protection the system offers if the boat crash gybes with the keel fully canted gives piece of mind to a solo sailor, by centring the keel automatically."
System Overview
A Marine based system for monitoring and controlling mobile or stationary systems.
Each site/boat/yacht/ship will have a localised intelligent controller connected to a 3G or GPRS, Immarsat broadband network reporting to a web server that allow management both onshore or offshore, to view the vessel using a standard browsers. Onboard there are various direct system screen options for onboard viewing and inputs. A browser is not required onboard.
Configuration for each of the various craft's remote end points for monitoring or controlling is done on the web site at purchase time and can be changed and upgraded by the end user.
Monitoring and controlling allows the fuel, water, engine systems, and catering supplies all to be viewed as the craft is moving. This allows an inventory of supplies to be at port when the craft arrives for replenishing for larger commercial vessels such as Super Yachts.
It is even possible to build a passage chart and download from the browser into the craft's navigation system. This is routes to take etc for automatic steerage. GPS also allows following and mapping the craft as it moves. Information such as headings, speed, even pitch, yaw and roll can be viewed.
Security
As a marine infrastructure management tool this is unique and as a security device essential. Security systems will allow for continuous monitoring of access to the craft and SMS and emails will be issued if triggered.
Canting Keel Monitoring and Control
The same intelligent control also has the unique ability to monitor and control Canting Keel systems. Infranet Systems Position Sensors provide the necessary data required to measure the precise keel position angles. This information together with other system data such as Hydraulic Pressures, keel loads are all made available onboard and via the web server which can be accessed from anywhere in the world using a Web Browser. Keel controls onboard can be configured to fully automate the keel position throughout the tacking and jibing process.
Smart Charger
A fully internet configurable Smart Charging device capable of charging multiple battery banks with different types of batteries such as Acid, Gel, AGM etc. The controller comes standard with the ability of charging three batteries with the ability of automatically switching to shore power when available. The controllers are fully solid state with the entry level controller charging up to 100 amps max.
Alerts are issued immediately via email and SMS if the shore power is disconnected. Our high end controllers switch to generator power or even the onboard engine to continue to supply power. All information such as Battery reserves, temperature, charging curves, voltage and much more are all available via a web browser. This allows the tracking of battery performance knowing when it’s time to go to sea your batteries are in top condition.
NEMA Data interface
Both NEMA 0183 and 2000 formats are supported. The onboard controller can receive NEMA data from various onboard networks and act as a combiner. The controller can also send NEMA sentences to other devices.
The controller connects directly to other onboard networks using NEMA, thereby allowing data to be displayed on most displays such as Nexus NX2 and B&G instruments.
Custom Applications
Controllers are available for temporary installations such as data acquisition. Our controllers for larger applications such as Super yachts and commercial vessels are custom made.
